2016 Green Party Kick-Off

Just a quick reminder that tonight (Monday) is our Green Party of Onondaga 2016 Kickoff meeting - Monday January 11, 7pm at 2013 E. Genesee St. We hope you can join us to get psyched for another year of educating, agitating and organizing for radical social change in our community.

2015 was a big year for our local Green Party. Citywide, more people cast votes for our Green candidates than in any previous election. Green Party activists and recent candidates are continuing work on the issues that were important to our 2015 campaigns, such as school funding, local job creation, sidewalk maintenance, and making Syracuse a city for all of us In 2016, we are gearing up for a year of organizing on local, statewide and national issues with our fellow Green Party members and political allies.

Join us on January 11th the hear about what is coming up in 2016 and to talk with local Green Party activists about ways you can get involved with local organizing for people, peace, and planet. RSVP via the Syracuse Greens website and spread the word on Facebook!

As a political party we work to establish political action based on cooperation, rather than exploitation, on conservation rather than consumption, and on sustainability rather than short-term gain. We believe in an alternative, independent politics.
