Did you know that Syracuse is second only to Detroit in both the percentage of the total population living in poverty (38.2%), and the percentage of those under the age of 18 living in poverty (54.7%).  Something is obviously not working.  This year, please help us make change and make history by electing the first Greens to office in Syracuse in 2013!

Hawkins MoneyBloom
Friday is MoneyBloom day!  Have you made the pledge to donate to the Hawkins for Council campaign? Howie will speak up to the political machine and fight for fully funded schools and public services.  Running an electoral campaign takes money for palm cards, ads, office rent, websites, lawn signs, snacks for volunteers, general office supplies - the costs add up.  A MoneyBloom is a one day, online fundraising event that brings supporters together as one force for change!  Pledge now to donate, invite friends to donate, and then make your donation all together on Friday September 27th!

Please pledge to donate whatever you can to support Howie Hawkins and a historic Green win in Syracuse!

As a political party we work to establish political action based on cooperation, rather than exploitation, on conservation rather than consumption, and on sustainability rather than short-term gain. We believe in an alternative, independent politics.
